Job description

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using providers such as AWS and Azure.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and availability of cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Ensure the security of cloud environments through the implementation of security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and encryption.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, configurations, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications and services.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and orchestration tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, or Docker.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure-related issues, resolving them in a timely and effective manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies, features, and best practices, and apply them to improve infrastructure and services.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments of cloud environments.
  • Manage and optimize cloud costs through efficient resource management and cost monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for cloud services.
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide training and guidance to other IT staff and stakeholders on cloud infrastructure and best practices.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of cloud migration projects, including scoping, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Lead the design and implementation of hybrid cloud solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud environments.
  • Generate and analyze reports on cloud infrastructure usage, performance, and security incidents.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud infrastructure management.
  • Respond to and resolve escalated support tickets related to cloud infrastructure in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for routine cloud infrastructure tasks.
  • Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud infrastructure with existing systems and processes.
  • Coordinate with cloud service providers for issue resolution and service enhancements.
  • Participate in the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures related to cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud infrastructure implementations and customizations.
  • Provide input and recommendations for the continuous improvement of cloud service delivery.
