Job Description – Sr. Consultant
Job responsibilities:
Understand the current e-commerce inventory process and suggest improvements.
Keeping himself up to date with the SCM and E-Commerce industry through the latest news and updates.
End-to-end coordination with the relevant team starting from order dispatch from the Supplier till receiving it at the warehouse.
Preparing various reports format related to the inventory, Stock reports Like: Actual vs received, and sales by SKU. Weekly reports related to the Container schedules and transit reports.
Virtual Coordination with the warehouse team and regular follow-up with their team related to various queries, issues, Stock receiving, and other issues that may arise.
Virtual Coordination with the Customs agent and trucking company for the timely release and delivery of the shipment to avoid any detention/Penalty.
Checking of the invoice and the other documents related to the shipment that is dispatched from the supplier end.
Providing the shipping documents to the customs Agent and coordination for the smooth release of the shipments.
Arranging the delivery of the shipments.
Get quotes from different vendors and compare it.
Schedule pickups and deliveries.
Creation of inbound shipments into the warehouse systems.
Receiving the inventory into the inventory management application.
Tracking and updating of the ETAs of the shipments into the google sheet and Accurest Knack application.
Coordination and follow-up with the house agents for the shipment release and providing the document for the release to our customs agent in a timely manner.
Follow-ups for the Delivery orders of the shipments that arrived and were released from the port.
Providing the DO to the delivery/Trucking team for pickup.
Google sheet and Excel Skills are a must to have.
Transform client requirements into a work plan and follow through on execution.
Prepare weekly/monthly reports and write business e-mails as per the requirements.
Conveying improvement strategies to seniors, and facilitating training sessions.
To work with the team collaboratively and address their concerns and resolve it after discussing them with seniors, if required.
Other Requirements:
Masters/Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics, International Business, and other relevant fields.
Experience in E-commerce Purchasing and Supply Chain including preparing projections, etc.
Experience in managing teams and training them.
Working knowledge of warehouse stock levels, re-ordering levels, and planning orders.
Working knowledge of Inventory processes (Purchase, warehouse transfer, etc.)
Should have strong knowledge of MS Office, MS-Excel, MS Word, and MS-PowerPoint
Expert in excel and google Sheets.
Good team leader and good trainer;
Good communication skills. (He/ She will be able to communicate with clients)
Good knowledge of writing Business e-mails.
● Location- Work from home.
● Night shift- 7 pm to 3.30 am
● Languages known: English and Hindi (verbal and written)
