The client provides a complete end-to-end service. They are a land development consultancy with a multi-disciplined group of professionals in the fields of civil engineering, town planning, surveying and project management. As an Australian owned and operated business, they are passionate about developing safe and sustainable solutions for their clients and communities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Applying your civil, roads and drainage design skills across a wide range of urban development and infrastructure projects to successfully deliver projects on time and on budget.

• Conceptual and detailed design of the following:

➢ Council and TfNSW roads in accordance with Council, TfNSW and Austroads Standards.

➢ Bulk earthworks for infrastructure and land development sites considering various constraints, site grading, boxing depths and drainage requirements.

➢ Stormwater drainage infrastructure, including pit/pipe drainage networks, channels, water sensitive urban design (WSUD) elements, bio-retention systems, detention tanks, etc.

• Liaising with other engineers and drafters to ensure design documentation is coordinated and developed to a high standard.

• Producing high quality technical design reports.

• Assist in mentorship of junior designers through participation in lunch and learns, internal training, etc.

Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering coupled with a demonstrated 5+ years’ Australian experience in urban civil infrastructure design.
Advanced working knowledge of investigation and design of roads, bulk earthworks, and stormwater infrastructure using ARR2019.
Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD, Civil3D / 12d, DRAINS, MUSIC and other relevant programs (Civil Site Design, Office Suite, Bluebeam, etc.);
Proven experience in Stormwater drainage infrastructure, including pit/pipe drainage networks, channels, water-sensitive urban design (WSUD) elements, bio-retention systems, detention tanks.
Demonstrated experience working with designers and drafters to prepare design drawings for DA approval or construction.
