Identifying and overseeing regulatory, compliance, and conduct risks, designing and implementing appropriate controls to mitigate these risks for the entity
Surveying and interpreting the entity's regulatory and broader risk landscape, being an escalatory point for regulatory issues and requests and a key owner of the entity’s approach to upcoming new regulations
Establishing and executing a best-in-class compliance framework, and where required, monitoring, and training programme
Testing policies and procedures and identifying any gaps
Overseeing the 1LoDs management of compliance and conduct, risk and control management framework
Reviewing marketing communications
Advising business on compliance requirements and related controls as it relates to crypto services
Supporting the business where necessary regarding the launch of products to ensure regulatory requirements are met
CySEC’s Advanced Certificate
5+ years experience in a similar role in the financial services industry or consultancy sector
The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis, policy creation, and implementation
A strong understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
The ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators
Multitasking skills with close attention to detail
The ability to demonstrate sound judgement
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving skills
CySEC’s AML Certificate
Knowledge of the Crypto industry will be considered an asset
