The role:

The DevOps Engineer’s primary responsibility is supporting Dentons EMEA IT Development and Operations. Working alongside Architecture and Project teams and Service Owners, the DevOps engineer is accountable for systems monitoring, continuous deployment, continuous services improvement.

As the Infrastructure is shared between multiple Regions, the individual is responsible for the EMEA region, which covers the Europe region and the UKI and Middle East. The objective is to ensure the successful technical integration and continued alignment with evolving Firm standards.

  • Building enterprise pipelines via Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
  • Run and troubleshoot pipelines flow.
  • Continuous Improvement of all pipelines.
  • Adding DevSecOps to production pipelines (monitoring, security checks).
  • Adding Automated tests.
  • Maintain Documentation as Code.
  • Architect new projects based on Technology Pipeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience with infrastructure across a broad spectrum of technologies.
  • Hands on working experience with Windows-based server infrastructure in a large environment.
  • Experience with Azure automation: Terraform, bicep.
  • Experience with administration and support of VMWare products.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub pipelines.
  • Experience with using third-party APIs.
  • Experience with scripting and version control: JSON, XML, Git, YAML, AZ CLI, bash.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Able to demonstrate excellent customer/client facing skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; can clearly explain and present problems and issues to others and work in a team to resolve.
