Luminary Group is currently partnered with a leading life science company who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Real World Evidence (RWE) to join their team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for driving the analysis and interpretation of real-world data to generate valuable insights and support evidence-based decision making in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

Lead and guide the development and implementation of data mining and statistical modeling techniques to analyze complex real-world evidence (RWE) datasets.
Preprocess and clean large-scale real-world data to ensure data quality and integrity.
Apply advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms to extract meaningful insights and patterns from RWE data.
Develop predictive models to forecast outcomes and trends based on real-world evidence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret analysis findings and communicate results to stakeholders.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in data science and real-world evidence.
Implement data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analysis results.
Lead the development of data-driven products and solutions for the healthcare industry.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably with a focus on real-world evidence (RWE) and the healthcare industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing data science projects.
Strong knowledge of data mining, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
Solid understanding of database systems and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find insights in complex datasets.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Experience with healthcare data and familiarity with healthcare data standards is highly desirable.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and ethics related to data analysis in healthcare.
