Staff4Me is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader/Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As the Team Leader/Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting team, managing financial reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This is a leadership role that offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and maintaining integrity of the GL accounting system and all the other applications.
Assisting in managing the financial staff results through coaching, counseling, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and performance assessment.
Responsible for creating and updating SOPs.
Participating in personnel selection processes.
Responsible for One-on-One and KPIs reporting and assisting supervisors in submitting metrics.
Team player. Develops relationships with other teams and departments in a professional and friendly manner to accomplish mutual goals and the presentation of assignments on time.
Logic driven – if something does not make sense, not afraid to ask questions and determine if there is a smarter way to approach a situation.
Advanced organizational and time management skills.
Working efficiently under pressure -complex scenarios and unexpected situations-.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with experience in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
CPA certification is a plus

Required profile
