Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and filling GST returns
  • Assist in preparing and filling IAS returns (for AU clients only)
  • Liaise with Client Partners and ensure Onboarding / Change of Scope, Documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Liaise with Client Partners and prepare jobs for annual accounts
  • Companies Office administration, preparation, and filing
  • Billing support for Client Partners
  • Respond to general queries and attend to records and filing in a timely matter including system administration, document preparation and data entry
  • Undertake accounting / GST functions as directed
  • Other duties as directed

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting essential
  • At least 1 – 2 years of similar experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting and taxation concepts essential
  • Experienced with Xero and MYOB is preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced Proficiency in Excel
  • Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
  • Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
  • Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
  • Time management/organization: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
