Position: Data Modeler/ETL/Architect
Duration: Contract to hire (6 months) they will sponsor
Interview process: 1 hour round technical
Location: Fully remote with occasional travel to Miami

This role is a mix between Data Modeler/ETL and Architecure and would be someone very high level in design and technical ability! Looking for a strong Data Modeling and Strong informatica design capabilities. This is not a dev role. This team oversees Datawarehouse and Global Casino

MDM initiative to build a larger data architecture structure and governance program on how to move forward a good data architecture and warehouse. Currently they have a lot of passenger data replicated in potentially 100 different places without really understanding what is there.
doesn't need 15-20 years of experience just someone sharp with the technical background
Currently they have 1 architect but he is totally on another project
Informatica ETL design expertise with Oracle
Not a developer-- mostly designer architect
This person would be working on enhancements, projects, and operations. Data retention opportunities
Have had a couple of interviews so far they fell short either data modeling or informatica design capabilites

Job Description

Perform regular reviews of proposed ETL solution designs, vetting them against technology standards, compliance requirements and best practices to ensure a reliable, secure solution is implemented.
Perform data model reviews & set database objects naming & data model standards
Analyze current data management environment to identify critical gaps/deficiencies, and design and propose solutions for improvement touching all aspects of data lifecycle
Identify data quality issues and their root causes. Propose fixes and design data audits.
Provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership to data modelers and ETL developers to bring improvement and optimizations in the implementation of data warehouses/ data lake, marts and universes
Assist in Data Architecture landscape analysis, findings and recommendations leveraging industry best practices and proven methodologies.
Part of Architecture Review Team (ART) in setting, governing & enforcing them both -- Data model & ETL design
Excellent oral and written communication, Analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to details

Qualification –

7+ years of experience in Informatica / ETL design & architecture
7+ years of experience with data modeling & architecture
Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Strong understanding of Data Integration Patterns and Tooling including ELT/ETL, Replication and Streaming to support batch and real-time data needs.
Proven experience in architecting enterprise-wide data platforms and data management solutions for large and complex environments
Proficiency in SQL, query optimization and relational databases
Proven ability of translating business needs into architecture and design requirements
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and leading practices
