We have invented a new credit card powered by an advanced asset-securing platform that enables us to offer much lower APRs to consumers. Our team is a combination of deep technology (Microsoft, Google, Facebook), and finance (Nubank, Goldman Sachs, Square, Carta, SoFi) executives. We have raised 4 rounds of funding from investors including Max Levchin (founder of Affirm), Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Sequoia Capital, NYCA, and others.
Our work involves building the world’s first completely autonomous asset-securing process, world-class risk models for underwriting, and an incredibly efficient product experience for consumers to apply, activate, and manage their credit cards.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven FP&A analyst to support our finance function. This role will require building and managing financial models and conducting scenario analyses for the business.

Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis, develop forecasts, and create financial models to support business planning and budgeting processes.
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with department heads to analyze and track budget performance, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics, market trends, and industry benchmarks to identify risks and opportunities.
- Support the development and evaluation of business cases, investment proposals, and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, including revenue forecasting, expense budgeting, and capital expenditure planning.
- Perform scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of business decisions and market changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve reporting capabilities.
- Provide support during audits, ensuring timely and accurate provision of financial data and documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to financial planning and analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Proven experience in investment banking or an FP&A analyst role. Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong financial analysis skills, with proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis.
- Excellent knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics.
- Understanding of lending metrics such as interest revenue and interest expense; Credit Card as a revenue/expense
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and trend identification.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Fluency, clarity, and good diction in English
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Flexibility to work US Pacific time 10 AM to 7 PM (with a 1-hour break time in between)
