Duration: 7+ months
Location: Remote, Occasional Travel to Denver, CO for special occasions

Project: Reason for need-Project Overview/Reason for need: As an IT Project Manager, this role will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering information technology projects within the defined scope, timeline, and budget. The individual will lead cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure successful project outcomes that align with the organization's strategic goals and technology objectives. The role involves a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills to drive project success.
Why are you doing this project:
Project Planning and Initiation:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success
criteria.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and
risk assessments.
• Secure necessary approvals and support for project initiation.
Team Leadership and Management:
• Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, including IT professionals, developers,
analysts, and other relevant personnel.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, set clear expectations, and provide guidance and motivation to
team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
Project Execution and Monitoring:
• Oversee project execution according to the established plan, ensuring tasks are completed on
time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain effective communication channels with team members and stakeholders, providing
regular updates on project status.
Risk Management:
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential negative impacts.
• Proactively address issues that arise during project execution, ensuring timely resolution and
minimal disruption.
• Budget and Resource Management:
• Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control.
• Allocate resources efficiently to meet project requirements and optimize outcomes.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and
end-users.
• Provide transparent and concise updates on project status, challenges, and achievements.
Change Management:
• Facilitate the adoption of new technologies or processes by guiding users through the change
management process.
• Address resistance and concerns, ensuring a smooth transition.
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards and adhere to best
practices.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation to verify the functionality and performance of IT
solutions.
Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status
reports, risk assessments, and lessons learned.
Project Phase/Launch date:
• Cloning everything SPGI has - needs someone smart enough to realize it's not applicable for their
business
• They only purchased and carved out one but their implementor is bringing over everything –
they are challenging that to see if it's just going to blow up or make things more complicated
• On the SAP side - more customizable
• Salesforce - 22 integrations on the parent company and they only need 3
• Someone sharp who can come in and ask the right questions
