Middleware Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA – remote to start
Duration: long term contract – up to 4 years

ABOUT THE POSITION

This role performs the design and configuration of middleware infrastructure and platforms for the applications being migrated to the AWS cloud.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – RESPONSIBILITIES

WebSphere Application Server, Microsoft IIS, Tomcat, Apache experience
General AWS Expertise (3+ yrs) – Certification(s) preferred AWS Developer certification
AWS containerization experience
REST API development experience
Experience migrating applications to the cloud required
AWS specialties:
AWS Lambda – preferred
AWS Code management – Required (CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, CodeBuild, etc)
Java, J2EE, Javascript, Python, Visual C++, .NET programming experience (at least 2)
System decomposition, design (such as decoupling) and architecting solutions required to migrate applications to AWS.
