Introduction & Role Details**

Arts Council England is looking for a full-time Delivery Manager, Transformation, and the role comes with a salary of £35,225 and excellent benefits.

You’ll be joining a new flexible and agile transformation team at the Arts Council which is delivering against the ‘How the Arts Council will Change’ commitment in our strategy, Let’s Create, and in our Delivery Plan (theme 5 of the 2021-24 delivery plan). We are focused on enabling the organisation to become more user focused, improving the digital experience, and ensuring our people have the skills they need to deliver the ambition of Let’s Create.

This is an exciting role, initially designing project management and monitoring process, and then operating as a flexible and deployable resource working on different projects at different times across the Arts Council. As such we’re looking for someone who understands the challenge of working with change, can anticipate where change may lead and identity changing priorities.

As a Delivery Manager, you will manage the delivery of change projects, also known as Beacon Projects. You will work with Senior Managers to provide clear oversight, risk management and monitoring of projects within the transformation programme.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Design, establish, and operate an effective project management and monitoring approach to enable the successful delivery of the Transformation programme.
  • Work closely with our data team to ensure project management.
  • Work with the Senior Manager Operations to develop project and team objectives, budgets and schedules, focusing on risk identification and mitigation.
  • Delegate tasks and resources to ensure activity is delivered according to plan.

To apply for this project management role, you will need an understanding of a variety of project management tools, approaches, and resources to support organisational development. You will also require the following:

  • Experience within an organisation in delivering or supporting successful change initiatives to agreed timescales and budgets.
  • The ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders (internal and external) in a persuasive, inclusive, and engaging manner.
  • Knowledge of organisational financial, business and change management issues
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and complex tasks.
