Job description

This is a remote position.


Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM New York time(1-hour unpaid lunch; 8 hours/day, 24 hours/week)
Job Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Remote

Scope:
● We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our internal accounting operations. This role requires someone who can work independently and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, supporting the day-to-day accounting needs of a growing company in the fashion industry.

Responsibilities:

Bank & Account Reconciliations:
● Review and categorize bank and credit card transactions
● Match receipts with the bank transactions
● Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements regularly.
● Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:
● Enter cutomers' invoices and vendors' bills
● Record and reconcile customer payments.

Time Sheet & Payroll Support:
● Enter and verify employee time sheet data.
● Coordinate with the team to ensure accurate submissions.

Data Entry & Record Maintenance:
● Keep accounting records and documentation well-organized and up to date.
● Assist with preparing basic financial summaries or reports when needed.

Ongoing Support:
● Communicate with vendors and internal team members as needed.
● Support the accounting manager with routine tasks and provide backup for other accounting functions.

Requirements

● 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a small business or creative industry environment.
● Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
● High attention to detail.
● Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines.
● Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive).
● Comfortable working remotely.
● A proactive, responsible attitude and clear communication skills.
