The Conduct & Disputes Specialist assists the Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities by classifying the incidents of student misconduct reported to the Office, conducting preliminary reviews of the reports to ensure the reporting party provided supporting documentation, and assisting in the sanctioning process. This role works with students, faculty, staff, and the university community while classifying complaints reported through the University’s general grievance process and assessing if the reporting party has attempted to resolve their complaints through the University’s formal appeal or special request processes. The Conduct & Disputes Specialist assists with collecting and organizing the documentation necessary to conduct Student Conduct Board reviews.
The Conduct & Disputes Specialist will work with the Associate Vice President of Student Rights and Responsibilities to document and research and document reported student conduct violations and initiate the grievance resolution process for complaints reported to the Office of Student Conduct.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and research skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and/or projects under tight deadlines, excellent customer service skills, and a high level of discretion and professionalism.
