Design and develop specific spacers outside of the CAG repeat sequence for the pathogenic alleles of HD and SCA3 using programmable nucleases called Cas enzymes
Develop a therapeutic approach that can selectively target and modify the pathogenic allele without affecting the healthy allele
Work collaboratively with other researchers and developers to optimize the CRISPR-Cas RNP system for the treatment of HD and SCA3
Ensure accuracy of protein and RNA data analysis and interpretation
Document and present findings in scientific meetings and publications
