Job description

Job Description:
- The Informatica Administrator manages all Informatica MDM environments, including but not limited to configurations, user access, MDM HUB, ActiveVos BPM suite, Hierarchy Manager, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, patching, administration, performance tuning, upgrading of Informatica MDM environments. This role is responsible for reliability and performance of the Informatica MDM software.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Installs and configures the Informatica MDM and ActiveVos BPM suite.
- Installs and configures the Redhat Jboss EAP application server for MDM.
- Carry out MDM upgrade along with pre-upgrade and post-upgrade activities
- Setup batch groups, message queues, and JBoss Application Server
- Experience in working with Database administrator to troubleshoot any problems
- Preparation of detailed upgrade steps to make sure existing functionalities doesn’t break from MDM & IDD standpoint
- Coordinates, plans and executes activities related to platform maintenance, disaster recovery and software release management.
- Configures Informatica components and assists infrastructure team on installation, upgrades and hotfix patches. Performs capacity and stability monitoring.
- Configures MDM High Availability multi-nodes architecture, failover and recovery functionality.
- Configures user authentication with LDAP integration of MDM application using Active Directory.
- Configures Application load balancing (URLs).
- Conducts performance tuning on MDM application servers and configurations for optimal performance.
- Raises tickets with Informatica vendor for software product or functionality issues.
- Assists with MDM code migrations and cutovers during releases and go-lives.
- Experience and knowledge on AWS Cloud essential and infrastructure concepts.
- Experience with administration of Informatica IDE/IDQ toolset.
- Proven performance tuning, troubleshooting and issues resolution skills.
- Ability to analyze and communicate root cause and resolution steps.
- Familiarity with Informatica Best Practices.
- Working knowledge of the Informatica software security model and adaptability.
- Working knowledge of AD authentication models and LDAP integration to Informatica MDM v10.x.
- Ability to maintain a detail-oriented approach while multitasking in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to mentor others, including peers and application developers, clearly explain complex technical issues to business analysts and end users.
- Experience in automation of MDM Code migration process.
- Experience in silent installation of Informatica MDM.
- Create solution design and architectural solutions for the data flows feeding the MDM platform and downstream consumption
- Implement the functional requirements for match-merge logic and survivorship rules in the MDM rule
- Providing technical leadership in evaluating, prototyping, and evolving the MDM framework in relation to enterprise analytics
- Configuration and Management of Users, Groups, and Roles
- Configuration of BO, Landing and Staging table.
- Knowledge on delta detection.
- Experience on Provisioning tool/E360 and External call.
