Job description

VisaNotary is seeking motivated and detail-oriented notaries to join our team. As a mobile notary, you will play a crucial role in providing notary services to clients in their homes or other convenient setting, ensuring that all documents are notarized accurately and efficiently. This position offers flexibility in hours and the opportunity to work independently while serving clients in your area. VisaNotary provides notary services for a prominent estate planning company that operates throughout the United States.

We are currently seeking mobile notaries who are located within a 45-minute drive of the following areas in Massachusetts:

  • North Boston
  • South Boston
  • Lowell
  • Springfield

Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various locations to provide prescheduled mobile notary services at the convenience of clients.
  • Verify the identity of signers and ensure that all documents are signed in accordance with state laws and regulations.
  • Review and notarize estate plan documents.
  • Maintain accurate records of all notarial acts performed, including keeping a journal of all transactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the state and the notary public code of conduct.

Requirements

  • Must be a commissioned notary public and have a valid notary license in your state.
  • Experience with estate plan documents such as wills, trusts, and POAs. Understanding of Advance Directives (Living Wills) is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to client locations.
  • Must complete brief role-specific training and demonstrate understanding of the related documents to be notarized.
