Job Description
The Marketing Assistant for Marketing and Events plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team with the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on event management. This position requires a highly organized individual who can handle multiple tasks and deadlines, while ensuring smooth operations and successful event outcomes.
Job Responsibilities

- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and promotional activities

Contribute creative ideas for trade shows and other events to enhance engagement and brand visibility

Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials and promotional content for events

Coordinate event logistics, including shipping of materials, booking transport, and managing on-site needs

Manage event and attendee communications to ensure timely and accurate information sharing

Collaborate with vendors and external partners to secure required services and supplies

Monitor and manage event inventory, including merchandise and promotional materials

Maintain and update event calendars to keep all stakeholders informed of timelines and deadlines

Facilitate coordination across internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Communications, Admin) to ensure smooth execution of event-related tasks

Support post-event evaluations and reporting to assess event performance and identify improvement opportunities

Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including meeting coordination, correspondence, and recordkeeping

Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe to support on-site event activities
Background & Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Basic knowledge of marketing principles and event management practices — or 1–2 years of experience in a similar role is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
