Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team in a part-time capacity. This role offers the perfect blend of analytical challenge and flexible scheduling, allowing you to leverage your expertise while maintaining work-life balance. You’ll work with a modern tech stack including Xero, QuickBooks, and specialized accounting software, providing crucial financial insights and compliance support to a diverse portfolio of clients. Responsibilities:

Manage and analyze financial accounts for a diverse portfolio of UK-based businesses

Prepare and review comprehensive financial models, cash flows, and business plans

Process and analyze complex financial data using multiple accounting platforms (Xero, QuickBooks, VT)

Handle UK tax compliance and filing requirements using specialized software

Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide strategic insights

Prepare annual returns and ensure compliance with Companies House and HMRC regulations

Maintain accurate financial records using cloud-based systems

Collaborate remotely with the core team while working independently

Requirements

Qualified accountant with demonstrated experience in UK accounting

Proven expertise in financial analysis and reporting

Strong proficiency in modern accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks

In-depth knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations

Experience with financial modeling and business planning

Excellence in remote communication and digital collaboration

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards

Comfortable with cloud-based tools and digital workflows
