Salary Range:
up to 2500 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

Were seeking a skilled Senior SEO Specialist to lead organic search strategy and performance across multiple client accounts. This role is primarily focused on SEO strategy and content-driven marketing, with the support of a development team that handles implementation. You'll help shape the overall SEO roadmap, support content planning, and guide performance improvements across a portfolio of SMB clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct SEO audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis to guide strategy.
  • Develop and execute Local SEO strategies, including citation building and optimization.
  • Advise on backlink opportunities (e.g., listings, outreach, HARO), as a secondary priority.
  • Collaborate with content creators to shape SEO-informed calendars and content plans.
  • Track and report SEO performance using tools like GA4, GSC, and Ahrefs.
  • Identify technical SEO issues and partner with developers to implement fixes.
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and clients, both written and verbal.
  • Deliver monthly reporting and continuous improvement recommendations.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including strategic planning.
  • Proficiency with: Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Ahrefs.
  • Familiarity with ScreamingFrog for audits (used occasionally).
  • Experience with WordPress (admin-level preferred).
  • Strong understanding of local SEO and conversion-focused strategies.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience coordinating across content and technical teams.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Awareness of UX/UI or visual design best practices.
  • Website design or development experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Clarity or AgencyAnalytics.
  • Industry experience in medical or health-related fields.
