Job Title: Experienced Life Insurance Back Office Assistant (Spanish Bilingual)

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Wage: $6 USD - $12 USD / hr

Schedule: 20-40 hrs/week

VirtueStaff is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Life Insurance Back Office Assistant who is bilingual in Spanish to enhance our client's remote team. This position is for candidates with significant experience in the life insurance sector, who can efficiently manage administrative responsibilities while ensuring effective communication with our Spanish-speaking clients. Your role will be crucial in supporting our operations and providing exceptional service to our valued clients.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the processing of complex insurance applications and policy documentation in both English and Spanish
  • Facilitate effective client communication by addressing inquiries and providing precise information
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of client records and documentation
  • Collaborate with insurance agents, underwriters, and external partners to streamline application processes
  • Generate and maintain detailed reports to aid management in operational strategies
  • Conduct timely follow-ups with clients regarding application statuses and policy updates
  • Assist in additional back-office tasks as necessary to keep operations running smoothly
  • Translate complex documents and communications between English and Spanish when required
  • Guided management in life insurance back office licensing processes
  • Perform LinkedIn outreach to potential clients and partners
  • Make outbound calls to insurance companies and clients
  • Support in organizing and hosting licensing classes for team development
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with agents to guide them through licensing procedures
  • Assist in commission processing for agents

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years as a Back Office Assistant in the life insurance industry
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance products, policies, and operational processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive situations
