Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Tallahassee, FL, USA, Eastern Time

The Collections Associate will work closely with the Associate Portfolio Manager and company leadership to ensure that all invoices are appropriately handled. This person will also play a critical role in collecting payments for invoices and ensuring that we know the status of all unpaid invoices. Comfort and willingness to speak on the phone for extended periods of time is required. Knowledge of the insurance industry, property restoration work, and construction fields is extremely helpful.

Responsibilities

- Make collections calls to insurance companies for payment of invoices
- Follow up on tasks for purchasing and collecting on outstanding invoices
- Maintain clear and organized notes about the status of each invoice
- Some basic client communication may be necessary


Requirements
Skills We Are Looking For

- Organization and time management
- Ability to maintain and execute on call lists, making up to 40 calls/day
- Ability to independently determine action items and action paths
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in Salesforce is a plus
- Spanish speaking is extremely helpful
