This is a remote position.

Job Highlights: 

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm with 1 hour of unpaid break
Client Timezone: EST (Atlanta-based)

Job Description
As a Social Media & Digital Content Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of managing and creating engaging digital content for a select portfolio of clients. This role offers the perfect blend of creative freedom and technical expertise, allowing you to transform client assets into compelling social media narratives and professional web presences. You’ll work independently while being part of a dynamic team structure, directly collaborating with business development representatives to ensure client success. This position offers the exciting opportunity to grow with the company, potentially expanding from part-time to full-time as the client base grows.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage engaging social media content across multiple platforms using client-provided assets
  • Transform basic photos and videos into compelling content by adding creative elements, captions, and transitions
  • Design and develop professional websites using WordPress and Wix platforms
  • Manage client engagement by responding to social media comments and maintaining an active community presence
  • Create and publish attention-grabbing stories and reels that align with client branding
  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries for efficient content recycling
  • Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles
  • Collaborate directly with business development representatives to ensure client satisfaction
  • Contribute creative ideas for content strategy and improvement

Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media content creation and management
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance and transform existing content into engaging social media posts
  • Proficiency with website development platforms (WordPress, Wix)
  • Experience with content creation tools (Canva, video editing software)
  • Strong creative skills and eye for visual storytelling
  • Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple clients independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously
  • Portfolio of previous social media work preferred
