Job description

This is a remote position.

Work Schedule: 20 hours a week (9am – 1pm UK time each day, no break)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:
  • Manage daily bookkeeping operations in Xero, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Process and record transactions from multiple payment platforms (Stripe, Wise)
  • Implement bookkeeping best practices and maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards
2. Administrative Support:
  • Coordinate with tutors and clients using TutorCruncher platform
  • Manage professional email and WhatsApp communications
  • Follow up on outstanding tasks such as lesson logs and payments
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and tutors
  • Assist with record-keeping

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience with proven Xero proficiency
  • 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience
  • Familiarity with Dext, TutorCruncher, Stripe, and Wise platforms is advantageous
  • Knowledge of UK accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) or willingness to complete relevant training
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with proven remote work capabilities
  • Availability to work part time with flexibility for UK time zone collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
  • Philippine CPA license or equivalent bookkeeping certification
