Responsibilities:
Support construction projects from inception to completion, overseeing budgets, subcontractors, and compliance with safety regulations
Coordinate pre construction activities, bid preparation, and project timelines
Track project progress, milestones, and budget, identifying and addressing risks and issues as they arise
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, laborers, and materials to ensure timely project progress
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays to keep the project on track
Manage project schedules, scope of work and inspections required by governing agencies
Use project management software to maintain task lists, update project status, and generate progress reports
Maintain project documentation, organize files, and facilitate effective communication among subcontractors and vendors
Financial management of project (estimating, negotiation of change orders, cost tracking, and closeout)
Requirements
4 to 6 years of construction/project management experience or equivalent education
Proficiency in project management software/systems and Microsoft Office 365
Experience in residential construction; specifically townhouses/row houses, single family homes and small apartment buildings
Effective communication skills with subcontractors, vendors, and government partners
Proficiency in preparing and tracking project timelines and budgets
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic business environment
Team player willing to work in a fast-paced environment in a growing small business
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience:
Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and civil plans and understand building materials and methods.
