Job Description:

Responsibilities:
Manage daily bookkeeping operations using Xero cloud accounting software
Process fortnightly payroll and distribute electronic pay slips to team members
Generate and manage electronic banking files (ABA) for secure payment processing
Reconcile financial transactions across multiple business entities
Prepare documentation for business activity statements and compliance reporting
Support month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
Maintain organized digital records for multiple business locations
Collaborate with external accountants and business leadership
Ensure accurate data entry and financial record keeping
Assist with special financial projects and reporting as needed
Requirements
2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
Strong proficiency with Xero accounting software
Practical knowledge of the Australian tax system and compliance requirements
Experience processing payroll and generating ABA files
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proven ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Experience with multi-entity bookkeeping preferred
Reliable internet connection and quiet home office setup
Availability during Australian business hours
