About the Company:

Position Overview:

The Billing Specialist will manage the end-to-end billing process, from data entry to invoice generation and follow-ups on unpaid accounts. This is a critical support role that ensures the company maintains timely and accurate financial records while supporting both internal teams and client-facing communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and verify billing data accurately and promptly.
• Generate and send invoices in line with company policy and timelines.
• Monitor and follow up on overdue payments.
• Respond to internal or client billing inquiries professionally and clearly.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all billing activities.
• Support audits and generate relevant reports when needed.
• Adhere to internal billing controls and financial procedures.
• Perform additional administrative and billing-related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Reliable written and verbal communication skills in English.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to learn and use accounting or billing software systems.
• Organized and able to meet deadlines independently.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with accounting or ERP platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero.
• Familiarity with U.S.-based billing cycles or financial compliance practices.
• Prior remote work experience, especially in finance or back-office operations.
• Exposure to audit preparation, account reconciliation, or reporting.
• Customer service or billing inquiry support experience.
