Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

  • Generate and review financial reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and assist in budget preparation.

Min 2.5 years proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a virtual environment. Proficiency in Xero is required, with a strong understanding of its features and functions. Solid knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial regulations. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Core responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other accounts in Xero. Generate and review financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents. Assist in the preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and end-of-month reporting. Support tax preparation by organizing and providing necessary financial information to external accountants. Liaise with vendors, clients, and team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments. Stay updated on best practices in bookkeeping and accounting to enhance processes.
