As a Demand Generation Intern at Bonterra, you will play an active role in supporting marketing programs that drive qualified leads and pipeline growth. You will assist in executing marketing campaigns, analyzing performance data, managing marketing tools, and maintaining essential content and reporting resources. Through this role, you will gain valuable insights into SaaS marketing strategy, customer journey development, and campaign optimization—all while making a real impact on our go-to-market efforts. This internship is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to develop their skills in digital marketing, campaign management, and marketing operations.
Program Details
This will be a paid internship program lasting 12 weeks. This position does not qualify for benefits. The role offers flexible hours and is remote.
Team Overview
As part of the Demand Generation team at Bonterra, you will work alongside marketing professionals focused on building pipeline, increasing brand awareness, and generating leads. Our team collaborates across departments—including Product Marketing, Sales, and RevOps—to create, execute, and analyze multichannel marketing campaigns that support business growth.
You will have the opportunity to:

What You'll Do
✅ Campaign & Content Support
Assist in the execution of email, paid media, and social campaigns using tools like HubSpot or Marketo.
Contribute to campaign content development (landing pages, emails, ads, etc.).
Maintain and update campaign tracking sheets and campaign assets.
✅ Marketing Tools & Analytics
Help manage lead uploads, list segmentation, and campaign tagging in CRM and marketing automation platforms.
Support performance reporting by tracking key metrics such as email open rates, CTRs, and conversion rates.
Assist in building dashboards or pulling data for weekly performance reviews.
✅ Event & Webinar Support
Coordinate logistics and promotion for demand generation webinars or virtual events.
Assist with webinar production, including creating follow-up emails and reports.
Support lead nurturing activities after events and analyze audience engagement.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Accounting or Computer Science degree program in quantitative field (or relevant other programs)
Strong proficiency in Excel or spreadsheet tools; comfortable working with large data sets and performing data analysis
Ability to think analytically and logically through problems
Interest in or prior exposure to forecasting, data modeling or demand generation
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to write for different audiences.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Confluence, Asana) is a plus.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, basic data analysis, and content management systems.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Preferred Skills
Interest in marketing strategy, digital campaigns, and the SaaS industry.
Experience with email marketing platforms, CRMs (like Salesforce), or marketing automation tools.
Understanding of buyer journeys, content funnels, or lead generation concepts.
Familiarity with or willingness to learn and use AI-powered tools to enhance productivity, targeting, and campaign performance.

Compensation
The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US Base Salary Range: $20 - 25/hr.
