Job description

Our client is a retailer leader, well known for their innovative products and dedication to helping their customers. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Project Manager to deliver a new mobile app.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the end to end delivery of the mobile app including managing a team of software developers. You will have a strong background in managing engineering teams for project delivery and a full understanding of modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities Include

Manage project delivery, track development progress, and maintain the app roadmap to ensure timely delivery
Oversee quality assurance (QA) and validation processes, ensuring app meets quality standards before release
Participate in production activities, including coordinating release schedules and managing production stores
Engage in technical conversations, challenge development decisions, and support stakeholders in maintaining clear and consistent communication.
Help manage app updates, new feature development, and ongoing improvements

Key Skills And Experience

7+ years of experience in Project Management.
Extensive experience delivering software development projects
Previous experience managing third party vendors
Hands-on knowledge of the full application development life-cycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release management
Experience delivering ecommerce solutions, ideally mobile apps
Experience managing teams including software engineers, designers, QA and business analysts
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
