Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervising Physician to provide oversight for psychiatric nurse practitioners practicing in Tennessee and Mississippi. This is a remote, flexible role ideal for a licensed physician with a background in psychiatry or behavioral health, looking to contribute meaningfully to a growing virtual care organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical oversight and supervision in compliance with TN and MS state regulations.
Maintain regular communication with assigned nurse practitioners.
Participate in quarterly chart reviews, case discussions, and documentation audits.
Be available for consultation regarding clinical care, scope of practice, and protocols.
Collaborate with the administrative team to support regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD)
Active, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee and/or Mississippi.
Board certification in Psychiatry preferred.
Experience supervising psychiatric nurse practitioners or similar roles.
Familiarity with telemedicine best practices is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Compensation:
Competitive monthly stipend based on number of supervisees and state regulations.
Flexible workload and remote work structure.
Maximum pay range per supervisee - $500 per month
