Key Responsibilities
Run & Maintain
Deliver day-to-day L2/L3 support for PP & QM: incident resolution, service requests, 'how-to' inquiries, batch job monitoring, master/transactional data corrections.
Meet or exceed SLA / KPI targets for response, resolution time, system availability and user satisfaction.
Perform root-cause analysis (RCA) and develop permanent fixes for recurring issues (Problem Management).
Minor Enhancements & Change Management
Gather and analyze business requirements; prepare functional specs; configure PP/QM in S/4HANA (1909 or later) for small-to-medium CRs, OSS notes and Support Packs.
Coordinate with ABAP, Fiori/UI5, PI/PO/CPI and Basis teams; execute unit / integration / regression testing; manage transport migration using ChaRM / CTS+.
Support quarterly/half-yearly release cycles, Feature Pack Stacks and cloud add-on deployments (e.g., SAP DMC, IBP).
Regulatory & Audit Support
Ensure all support and change activities comply with ISO, IATF, cGMP and FDA validation standards.
Produce and maintain validation deliverables-URS, FS, Risk Assessment, IQ/OQ/PQ, Test Evidence, SOPs.
Assist in internal / external quality audits; close CAPAs within agreed timelines.
Process & System Optimization
Proactively identify opportunities for process automation (MRP Live, Advanced ATP, Fiori apps, BTP extensions).
Benchmark new S/4HANA functionality, OSS Notes and SAP Best Practices for PP-DS, Predictive MRP, SPC, QM Notifications and CAPA workflows.
Facilitate continuous-improvement workshops with production, planning, quality and supply-chain stakeholders.
Governance & Collaboration
Enforce ITIL v3/v4 processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Knowledge, Service Reporting).
Maintain Solution Documentation in SAP SolMan / Signavio.
