Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with 1 hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)


Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry & Resume Writer with a background in HR or recruitment to support our team in writing, formatting, and refining resumes and cover letters, Seek and LinkedIn optimization. 


Key Responsibilities:

 Resume Writing & Editing

  • Draft, format, and enhance resumes and cover letters across various industries with strong attention to detail

  • Ensure resumes and cover letters are clear, polished, and tailored to specific roles

  • Proofread and edit for clarity, grammar, and impact

  • Optimise clients' SEEK and LinkedIn profiles 


 Nice-to-Have Skills (Optional)

  • Social Media: Posting/managing content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn)

  • LinkedIn: Networking and lead generation

  • Customer Service: Managing basic client inquiries


Requirements
  • HR/Recruitment Experience Preferred
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to tailor resumes and cover letters to meet industry standards is essential.
  • Resume templates and a resume writing guide will be provided—full training will also be available.
While not required, experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage:
  • Social media management (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Updating trackers
  • Content management/email marketing 
Note: If there is nothing to do, they will need to call and speak to clients (minimal). Also, they will need to call and ask clients for their 6-digit code for logging into Seek and LinkedIn profiles so that these profiles can be optimized.
