Role Summary

The LATAM Account Executive drives new-business acquisition and revenue growth across the region. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this individual owns the full sales cycle—from prospect identification through contract execution—while cultivating long-term relationships with banks, asset managers, and corporate treasuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory plan that targets priority markets throughout Latin America.

  • Source, qualify, and advance opportunities for foreign-exchange, fixed-income, and structured-product solutions.

  • Lead discovery meetings, deliver product demonstrations, and articulate value propositions that address client objectives.

  • Negotiate pricing, coordinate legal documentation, and close transactions in line with compliance standards.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts in the firm’s CRM; report weekly to regional leadership.

  • Collaborate with trading, product, and risk teams to tailor solutions and ensure seamless post-trade support.

  • Monitor macroeconomic trends and regulatory developments that affect client portfolios and product demand.

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated track record of closing complex deals with institutional or large-corporate clients.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese proficiency is advantageous.

  • Working knowledge of regional financial regulations and cross-border transaction structures.

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.

Preferred Attributes
  • Three to five years of quota-carrying experience in B2B financial-services sales (e.g., FX, fixed income, derivatives, or treasury solutions).

  • Experience at a fintech, broker-dealer, or investment bank with a focus on Latin-American markets.

  • Established network within banks, pension funds, or corporate treasury departments.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
