About The Role
Sellers Dorsey is seeking a Contracts Manager for the Legal team who will oversee the contract lifecycle management process for Sellers Dorsey, ensuring all agreements align with legal, regulatory, and business requirements. This role will lead contract development, review, analysis and negotiations for complex arrangements across the firm. As the Contracts Manager, you will ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies, while supporting the organization's strategic goals in all contractual matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the contracting process for highly complex arrangements, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of contract types, including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, vendor contracts, RFP responses, amendments, and statements of work. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the contract management process, escalating issues to attorneys and leadership as needed.
- On an ongoing basis, collaborate with stakeholders to update, develop and standardize templates and contract playbooks.
- Contribute to and drive internal process improvements and standard practices, including creating internal legal resources, fine-tuning our contract management solutions and improving contracting processes and policies.
- Train and assist the contract management system (“CPAi”) end users as needed. Assist with maintaining and managing the contract database.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Contracting, Law or other related field preferred. National Contract Management Association or other similar membership is also preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in contract management, with a focus on healthcare consulting or government contracts preferred.
- Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience negotiating complex contracts, including government and commercial agreements.
- Exposure to government contracts and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute) is a plus.
- Proficiency in contract management software, legal databases and entire Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and redlining skills.
- Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams and effectively influence business partners.
- Highly developed time management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines and handling multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to work independently.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for candidates is $105,400/year to up to $125,000/year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, the candidate’s education, and the candidate’s market location. Typically, candidates are not hired near the top of the range and compensation decisions are made based upon Sellers Dorsey’s Total Compensation Policies & Guidelines. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in our annual Corporate Incentive Plan (CIP) that can range to up to 10% of annual salary.
Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, the successful candidate (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, and vision and for insurance plans offering short term disability, long term disability, and basic life. Employees are also able to enroll in Sellers Dorsey’s 401k plan provided they meet plan requirements. Sellers Dorsey offers a Flexible Time Off that allows employees to use what they need. Additionally, we offer 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, paid time off for qualifying medical leave, and up to 12 weeks of combined paid parental and bonding leave.
