As a Part-Time Instructional Systems Designer, you will play a crucial role in crafting effective training programs. You will need to leverage your extensive knowledge of the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) model to design, develop, plan, and organize various training solutions, including instructor-led training (ILT), web-based training (WBT), and blended learning solutions (BLS).
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Instructional Systems Designer: $30 - $35/hour.
Pay commensurate with experience.

Instructional Systems Designer Responsibilities Include:
Create design plan for training projects (paper, CBT, WBT, video, DVD).
Develop concepts/themes and instructional strategies for projects.
Create reports, design plans, and storyboards within timeframe given.
Advise Task Lead or Project Manager of scope issues.
Coordinate with graphics and programmers in developing paper, IVT, video, CBT/WBT projects.
Work on a variety of assignments on an as-needed basis.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Instructional Systems Designer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
B.S. or B.A. required in Adult Learning Theory, Human Performance Technology, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Adult Education equivalent preferred.
4+ years of training-related experience.
Must have extensive knowledge of the Instructional Systems Design model to design, develop, plan, and organize training programs.
Thorough knowledge and demonstrated experience of the ISD process in the development of instructor-led training (ILT), web-based training (WBT), and blended learning solutions (BLS).
Experience working with authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, and Lectora
Awareness of capabilities of web/multimedia development tools such as Flash and Dreamweaver, and graphic design/manipulation tools such as Photoshop, a plus.
Understanding of and experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Electronic Performance Support Systems (EPSS), SCORM, and Section 508 desired.
Experience conducting a variety of types of analyses and needs assessments. Web 2.0 knowledge and experience a plus.
Ability to develop instructionally sound learning solutions and testing materials with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to apply creative instructional themes and strategies to a variety of delivery media, including classroom and online.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
