Summary
We are actively hiring a full-time unique Market Development Representative, SMB role to partner with our growth and marketing team to generate top line revenue while also owning end-to-end sales cycle for our SMB Controlled Substances business. In this role, you will conduct strategic segment and account research to understand the unique challenges our customers face, identify and connect with prospects, and then communicate how Bamboo Health can help to solve the challenges of each unique account.
You will also create and nurture relationships with targeted SMB post-acute/provider accounts in your region to explore, structure, and close partnership opportunities that build Bamboo Health’s controlled substances business unit. You will be responsible for owning the use of an AI BDR tool to support SMB transactions through a customer facing flow from prospecting to purchase. To support your efforts, Bamboo Health will work with you to help develop a firm understanding of the healthcare landscape of your region, develop your sales skills, and ensure that you have every tool necessary to close opportunities and drive market growth in your segment.
What You’ll Do
Generate pipeline through discovery and customized outreach targeting uniquely identified contacts for each account.
Demonstrate the ability to interact with daily operators and executives while conducting conversations touching on all aspects of the daily workflows and high level strategic objectives of an organization.
Work closely with growth team on segment strategy, messaging and persona-centric value propositions, qualification criteria, and overall strategic account planning.
Maintain strong relationships with prospects and utilize tech stack in order to effectively manage long term and ongoing interactions with high value prospects.
Run a full sales cycle, from prospecting an account to getting an executed contract back
Identify potential business opportunities.
Deeply understand the prospect’s business goals to deliver Bamboo Health solutions that help them achieve those goals.
Manage deal negotiation and contracting that aligns with the prospect’s budget and timeline.
Ensure all required information is accurately represented in SFDC.
What Success Looks Like…
In 1 month…
You will learn about the current state of healthcare, Bamboo Health’s value proposition, and the market fits for our solutions.
You will complete a capstone project demonstrating your ability to effectively identify, research, and develop a strategic plan for a prime prospect.
You will effectively leverage sales tools (Salesforce, LinkedIn, Definitive, Salesloft) to enhance productivity and results and manage to a Business Development process, demonstrating the ability to work cross functionally with marketing and sales.
You will begin to build pipeline for our most strategic solutions.
You will learn and implement an AI BDR tool.
In 3- 6 months…
You will have ramped into a productive role, and consistently achieve your targets.
You will be a thought partner working in conjunction with Account Executives to determine the most effective strategies for achieving stated objectives, and adapt as needed.
You will be well-versed in the healthcare / care coordination space and where Bamboo Health fits in the landscape and you have the ability to deliver a strong, polished pitch and navigate complex prospect questions.
Outbound meeting booking and meeting delivery to drive opportunity generation to support months 4 through 12.
What You Need
2-4 years of professional experience in a business-to-business environment (preferably health or tech)
BA/BS degree
Tenacious and sharp problem solver who does not shy away, but rather is motivated by seemingly intractable challenges
Entrepreneurial, trailblazing spirit, eager to be at the forefront of health system transformation
Strong self-starter with a track record of getting things done (this also means you are comfortable with ambiguity)
Analytical and very fast learner
