Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
  • Schedule: 20 hours/week; Flexible during AWST business hours

Client Timezone: Australian Western Time (Perth)


Scope:

  • Complete ownership of digital marketing strategy and execution
  • Direct communication with business owners
  • Management of all digital marketing channels
  • Budget responsibility for paid advertising campaigns


Responsibilities:

Create and send two email campaigns per month via Mailchimp

Design promotional materials for two monthly specials, including:·        

  • Facebook banner and square-format static graphics
  • One animated story format for use on social media 

Develop a monthly content plan for social media, including:·        

  • Filming requirements
  • Trending topics and platform strategy based on current research
  • Emphasis on minimal speaking, with preference for voice-overs

Produce and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including:·        

  • Reels, stories, and TikTok posts
  • Three posts per week, adjusted based on performance and trend research

Execute a daily Stories strategy across platforms, rotating through brand pillars:·        

  • Awareness, education, current specials, reel sharing, and reusing relevant past stories

Manage Google Ads campaigns with:·        

  • Monthly research-driven keyword updates
  • Elimination of underperforming terms
  • Monthly reporting with insights and actionable recommendations

Oversee paid social media advertising, focusing on:·        

  • Targeted campaigns to reduce bot engagement and increase conversions

Requirements
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly in social media management
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and Google Ads
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools
  • Experience with content creation and management
  • Knowledge of digital marketing analytics and reporting
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience with beauty/wellness industry preferred
