Social Media Video Editor (Part time)

Nova Ukraine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine and raising awareness about Ukraine in the United States and throughout the world. Thanks to your generous donations, we fund a variety of projects to help the people of Ukraine and to strengthen Ukraine’s democratic society. The Nova Ukraine team and volunteers have been working tirelessly to help those in need. We greatly appreciate the overwhelming support from the community. Since then, we have donated over $110 million worth of humanitarian aid.

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Video Editor who excels at meeting deadlines and effectively collaborating across international teams. This role involves producing engaging, short-form video content tailored specifically for Nova Ukraine’s social media channels, primarily Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. This position is part-time and remote, open to candidates in Ukraine or the United States.

What We’re Lookin For

✔ Proven experience in video editing for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X).

✔ Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar).

✔ Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.

✔ Ability to deliver content quickly without compromising quality.

✔ Familiarity with social media trends and platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X).

✔ Excellent communication skills in Ukrainian and English (both written and verbal).

✔ Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate successfully in remote and international environments.

What You’ll Do

✔ Edit and produce compelling social-first videos optimized for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.

✔ Collaborate closely with content, communications, and other cross-functional teams to identify impactful storytelling opportunities.

✔ Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders across different teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the video creation process.

✔ Maintain Nova Ukraine’s brand voice and style while exploring innovative approaches to drive engagement and awareness.

✔ Ensure quick turnaround, responsiveness to emerging trends and news, and consistently meet deadlines.

✔ Optimize videos for maximum reach, engagement, and platform-specific best practices.

✔ Support the curation, organization, and management of multimedia assets.
