This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 20 paid hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, flexible between 9AM to 5PM Hamilton QLD

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the digital marketing strategy for an established restaurant group. You’ll have creative freedom to develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, from social media management to content creation. Working directly with the business owner, you’ll be responsible for elevating the restaurants’ online presence through engaging content, strategic advertising, and innovative marketing initiatives. This role offers the perfect blend of creative expression and strategic thinking in the exciting hospitality industry.

Responsibilities
  • Create compelling social media content for Instagram, including custom graphics and engaging posts
  • Transform raw video footage into polished reels and social media content
  • Design and execute paid advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, and Google platforms
  • Implement and maintain SEO strategies to improve online visibility
  • Craft engaging blog posts and press releases for the restaurant websites
  • Develop and manage email marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics
  • Collaborate directly with business owner to align marketing initiatives with business goals


Requirements
  • 3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing and social media management
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (especially Canva)
  • Strong video editing capabilities
  • Experience with Meta Ads and Google Ads platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience with hospitality or restaurant industry preferred
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently
  • Reliable internet connection and home office setup
