Job Description
J.A.S Atelier, a boutique, female-led sustainability and design studio, is seeking a freelance Architectural Visualiser to bring 3–4 conceptual, sensory case studies to life for the Radical Alchemy Report, a visionary spatial futures document launching in May.
This is not a traditional rendering brief. We are looking for an artist who:
Thinks in layers, texture, and atmosphere
Visualises emotion, story, and energy, not just objects
Works across mixed media: collage, AI-aided, hand-drawn, or stylised rendering
Is inspired by spatial mysticism, sustainable futures, and cultural storytelling
Project Scope
Visualise 3–4 built environment case studies (for example: Barbican Centre, regenerative hospitality spaces)
Create 1–2 visuals per study
Deliver high-resolution stills for digital and print use
Visual tone should be editorial, poetic, and rooted in sacred ecology
Timeline
Briefing and style alignment by May 3
Final delivery by May 10–12
Compensation
Compensation: £800–£1,200 GBP (or equivalent in your local currency, flexible depending on style and experience)
50 percent paid upon contract start, 50 percent upon final delivery
