Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:
  • 40 hours a week
  • Flexible hours between 6am-6pm Colorado Time (8pm - 8am Manila Time)

Responsibilities
     Import transactions and attachments from the CSR system into QuickBooks.
  • Validate and map transactions to ensure they are hitting the proper GL accounts.
  • Accurately record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Perform bank transaction matching and accurately input expenses.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Conduct financial reviews.
  • Generate, send, and follow up on invoices.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Maintain a systematic record of financial documents and ensure they are up to date.
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and create checks and deposits.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare for audits and other financial reviews. 
  • Support senior accounting staff in various projects and tasks as needed.
  • Stay updated with financial policies, regulations, and legislation.
  • Review work to ensure accuracy.


Requirements


  • At least 4 years of strong accounting experience.
  • Must have a computer running on Windows OS
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of US generally accepted accounting principles and procedures (GAAP).
