Job description

Description of Service Opportunity:

- Translate presentations and worksheets for CKLA units (Grades 1-4) into Portuguese after the teacher's guide is completed.
- Review Portuguese text for Grades 3 & 4, ensuring accuracy and formatting consistency.
- Make any necessary edits and revisions for clarity and accuracy.
- Coordinate with the curriculum team and adhere to unit completion schedules.
* Work: 5 hours per week

Minimum Requirements:

Required education and experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in ESL, Bilingual Education, or a foreign language.
Native fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English.

Length of Contract:

December 9, 2024 to March 30, 2025

Contract Amount:

Not exceed $1400.00

Please note that your hourly rate is dependent upon your collective bargaining agreement or individual hourly rate. If you are a non-exempt employee and have worked more than 40 hours a week, you will be paid time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours.
