Minimum of 2.5 years of proven experience as a Video Editor, ideally within an e-commerce or digital marketing environment. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing software. Experience editing vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling for product-focused videos. Ability to work with different video styles – product demos, lifestyle, UGC, etc. Familiarity with social media trends and how to apply them in video content.

Core responsibilities:

High Priority (Must Have) These are non-negotiable. Without these, the editor won’t be suitable for the role. • Skilled at creating content that looks and feels like the brand • Strong storytelling ability in short-form content • Experience working with premium or luxury brands • Proven experience creating Meta ads that convert • Deep understanding of hook psychology for Meta and organic • Ability to create on-brand thumbnails for Reels and TikTok • Strong grasp of content differences across paid and organic platforms • Able to repurpose one raw video into multiple deliverables • Confident taking a script and raw footage to produce variations • Comfortable using tools like ElevenLabs and AI avatars

Medium Priority Some experience expected. Can develop further in the role. • Basic photo editing or light design skills • Working knowledge of TikTok content and editing styles • Experience with UGC-style ecommerce content • Ability to assist with scripting or visual ideation • General understanding of ecommerce conversion flow

Low Priority Not required now but a bonus for future growth. • Experience with long-form video editing • Interest in creative testing and performance review
