About the Role:
CALSTART is seeking a highly motivated Massachusetts-based intern to support programmatic outreach for the Mass Fleet Advisor initiative and other Northeast-focused programs. This position will support the Northeast Regional Office and report directly to the Deputy Director, Northeast Regional Office. This intern will play an important role in supporting outreach initiatives for Massachusetts clean transportation programs.
This is a part-time internship that requires a weekly commitment of 10-20 hours, with a maximum limit of 25 hours per week.
What You Will be Doing: Engage with a wide variety of stakeholders such as transit agencies, truck fleets, community-based organizations, workforce development associations, and colleges and universities Coordinate outreach to external stakeholders by helping in scheduling, notetaking, and outreach summaries Attend in-person events to represent CALSTART Northeast Programs Support market/industry research to identify trends and gain insights Support marketing and outreach programs including email and social media campaigns, website and content development, and stakeholder engagement opportunities What You Bring to the Table: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in public and professional settings Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience Strong attention to detail and self-motivated Desired Qualifications: Completed at least 3 years of accredited college/university level coursework towards a degree in Marketing, Communications, Urban Planning, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability or related fields Reside within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts We understand that not everyone will match the above qualifications 100%.
