We are looking for a People Operations Intern to join our People Ops team this Summer! This intern will support business strategy through aligning culture, performance, and HR. Are you someone with deep organizational and administrative experience, who is interested in building an amazing employee experience? *This is a remote position based on Eastern Time. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC*

Internship Details:

  • Duration: June 2nd, 2025 - August 22nd, 2025
  • Commitment: 20 hours per week
  • Projects: You'll work on 2-3 key initiatives, with one serving as your final deliverable. 
  • Compensation: Our compensation policy ensures a minimum of $15/hour or the legally required local minimum wage, whichever is greater, to maintain fairness across regions.
  • Mentorship: You'll be paired with a Talkspace mentor to guide you throughout the program.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and streamline our People Team Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including newly adapted workflows within our HR systems
  • Administrative and data entry support across a myriad of HR functions -- including onboarding, offboarding, talent development, employee records management, compliance, and HRIS maintenance
  • Improve the Talkspacer employee journey through coordination and support of People Team projects, employee experience, and/or survey design and analysis 
  • Assist with executing team specific and cross-team focused initiatives to foster better performance, culture, and collaboration 
  • Event coordination, managing internal team building events and people-related programs, supporting All-Hands preparation and facilitation
  • Organize and manage internal People Team Confluence knowledge base
  • Other tasks as needed

About You 

  • Rising juniors and seniors in undergraduate degree, or currently enrolled in graduate programs
  • Able to commit to working up to 20 hours per week during the summer 
  • Experience analyzing/visualizing data
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for being in the details, ensuring every document, project, or experience is on-point and on-brand
  • Organizer of all things with a track record of project planning
  • Must be able to appropriately and effectively handle and communicate sensitive information and have a strong understanding of confidentiality
  • Experience with Google Suite and basic understanding of Excel/Google Sheets
  • Work collaboratively with multiple groups in a variety of settings and be able to listen, articulate positions, advocate, and execute
  • Communicate effectively (verbal & written) and are able to sell ideas and clearly explain findings
  • At ease with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
