This is a remote position.
Schedule:
Part-time, flexible during client business hours (minimum 20 hours per week)
Client Timezone: Australian Eastern Time (Sydney)
Responsibilities:
Manage all bookkeeping functions through Quickbooks, including GST and BAS lodgments
Perform reconciliations across multiple payment platforms (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal)
Handle inventory adjustments and planning
Assist with manufacturing planning and inventory forecasting
Prepare financial documentation for external accountant review
Monitor and maintain inventory management systems
Process and reconcile daily sales data from e-commerce platforms
Ensure compliance with Australian tax requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
Strong proficiency in Quickbooks and Australian GST/tax requirements
Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify
Demonstrated inventory management experience
Strong attention to detail and process adherence
Experience with multiple payment gateway reconciliations
Knowledge of Australian business accounting practices
Excellent communication skills in English
