Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data related to clients’ products and services.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to identify potential analytical projects.
  • Execute analytical projects and develop sales forecasts and statistical predictive models.
  • Present reports that summarize data findings and provide actionable recommendations.

Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst 

The Jr. Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in identifying and executing on opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical predictive models, and data-driven analyses to help drive sales for our clients. The Jr. Analyst will be responsible for extracting and analyzing the data, identifying patterns, and related trends, and summarizing the results with recommendations in a manner that can be quickly understood by non-technical business decision-makers.  

 

Location: UT-Remote 

 

What will you do? 

  • Analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative data related to our clients’ products, services, programs, competitors and industries using advanced statistical techniques 

  • Work closely with the Account Managers to identify potential analytical projects to help client programs 

  • Execute analytical projects and understanding of analytical methods (like ANOVA, Regression, Forecasting, etc.) 

  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts and other statistical predictive models 

  • Focus on solutions, dive into projects, quickly identify drivers in the data 

  • Present reports that explain the business “story” behind the data detailing what happened, what is likely to happen, why, and recommendations. 

 

What you will need to succeed? 

  • Pursuing or currently have a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or Economics preferred (or equivalent work experience) 

  • Experience in analytics preferred   

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel 

  • Experience in working with databases and SQL in a business environment  

  • Experience with statistical modeling software such as SPSS, SAS, R, GMDH or other tools 

  • Experience with statistical techniques such as multivariate regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, conjoint analysis, and/or forecasting models

The hourly pay for this position is $17.50. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
