Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Workday implementation.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Workday Time Tracking.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with internal staff and external vendors to document current business processes, including coordinating and facilitating meetings using Microsoft Teams. Must be able to set agendas and manage discussions to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Current PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience planning and documenting project tasks aligned with project objectives (2 years).
  • Ability to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions for project risks (2 years).
  • Experience with activity and resource planning based on a Statement of Work (2 years).

Interview Process:

  • 45-minute interview via Microsoft Teams.

Contract Details:

  • Part-time (20 hours/week), remote position.
  • Duration: Through December 31, 2025, with possible extension based on project needs.
  • Open to candidates located anywhere in the United States; Wisconsin residency not required.

Project Overview:

The City is implementing Workday to replace its current PeopleSoft systems (FMIS/HRMS) for Human Resources, Payroll, and Financials. We are seeking a certified Project Manager with relevant Workday experience to lead the Time Tracking component of this project.

This individual will collaborate with multiple City departments to ensure that their time tracking requirements are addressed within the Workday configuration, support end-to-end testing, and work closely with our implementation partner to incorporate any necessary updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts to gather and document time tracking needs across City departments.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate integration efforts with existing applications, such as:
  • City Time, a custom-built application, which will require integration oversight with Workday.
  • UKG TeleStaff, used for scheduling in select departments, where potential Workday integration may be explored for operational efficiency.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $75 and $80. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
